Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA)

Often the first step in any project, Windrush Ecology Ltd has a wealth of knowledge and experience with undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA).

A PEA provides a high-level overview of a site’s ecological value and identifies any potential ecological constraints or opportunities that could affect a project. It typically includes a desk study, field survey, assessment of ecological constraints and opportunities, as well as making recommendations for any further ecological survey work, such as further surveys to inform an Ecological Impact Assessment.
