Windrush Ecology specialises in Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), providing our clients with concise and accurate report with pragmatic and practical advice on mitigation, compensation and enhancement measures.
Windrush Ecology also undertakes Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments using the Statutory Biodiversity Metric. We have an in-depth knowledge of the Metric and how it works and have inhouse expertise in GIS mapping of habitats.
Windrush Ecology provides expert advice on licensing for development, specialising in Bat Licences. We have extensive experience of advising on the requirement for licensing, of preparing licence applications and liaising with Natural England.
Windrush Ecology is able to apply their considerable academic background, expertise and experience to producing management plans tailored to particular habitats and species, whilst being practical and easy to implement.
We offer an Ecological Clerk of Works service to provide our clients with hands-on advice during sensitive phases of project implementation, ranging from bats in buildings and small projects to nationally significant infrastructure projects.
