Historic Buildings & Landscapes

Windrush Ecology has particular experience and expertise when it comes to historic buildings and landscapes and have worked with some of the larger estates and landowners in south-central England. Our projects have included multiple listed buildings including manor houses, tithe barns, churches and cathedrals. We have also been involved in several complex ‘Paragraph 79’ developments for houses of exceptional quality and sustainability in the open countryside.
We provide a range of ecological services including Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Assessment and specialise in Protected Species Licensing.
We provide specialist ecological surveys ranging from initial scoping surveys to detailed botanical surveys and protected species surveys, specialising in bats.
At Windrush Ecology we are proud of our wide range of projects and the challenges and opportunities that they have provided. Here are selected few case studies.
