Bromley, London - Butterfly Survey

A very recent project has involved a butterfly survey for the brown hairstreak butterfly in Greater London. The project is for residential development within an area that is known to be a hotspot for the brown hairstreak butterfly.

The butterfly survey included walked transects to look for adult butterflies, as well as egg searches on blackthorn shrubs.
