Top 10 New Species to Science 2012 Revealed

Each year, the International Institute for Species Exploration’s international committee of taxon experts evaluates the hundreds of new species that have been nominated by the public, International Institute for Species Exploration staff, scientists, scientific journal editors and by the committee members themselves.

This year the list includes a snub-nosed monkey from Myanmar that sneezes when it rains, the world's first known night-flowering orchid and a blue tarantula.
