March Surveys Reveal Active Bats

A number of building surveys undertaken during the warm spell in March have revealed active bats. Lesser horseshoe bats, common pipistrelles and Daubenton’s bats have all been seen within springtime roosts and feeding frantically over ponds and in woodlands. Bats are well and truly out of hibernation.
